Over the past decade there have been shootings and gun violence all over the United States. The English Department at Westfield State had a postcard design contest in support of the National Day of Action Against Gun Violence in Schools campaign. I ended up placing second and my design was sent out to state and national representatives across the country. I personally believe that gun violence is definitely something that we as a nation need to address until a solidified and formidable solution is derived. The reason to why the work is mainly orange because it aligned with the campaign's color scheme.
