Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum
Rebranding Strategy

I recently visited the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston for the very first time this past February. It was like nothing else I have ever seen. This place has a certain regalness to it, even though Isabella herself was not of royal blood, she certainly made it very convincing. Between the botanical gardens and the various artworks sectioned out with extreme intent, it only goes to show the love and passion that Isabella had for her collection to then share with the world. Even the robbery of 1990 adds more flavor that brings yet more intrigue and curiosity.
My main goal with this project was to bring Isabella's colorfulness to the forefront of the brand. The color schemes I have selected are also chosen with great intent, especially the I, S, G and M. Each of those colors was selected based on a room in the castle. The "I" represents The Blue Room, the "S" represents the Raphael room,
the "G" represents The Yellow Room, and the "M" is intended to be representative of the botanical gardens. To the left, there is the full PDF of the scope of the brand
guidelines I have created.
